The optional HD Matrix LED headlights ensure a daylight-like and precise illumination of the road with high energy efficiency and a long service life. In doing so, intelligent cameras recognise the environment and always show streets in their true light. The LED full beam is divided into individual lighting segments, which are switched on and off or dimmed depending on the situation. Oncoming and preceding vehicles are not blinded, the areas between and next to them are still fully lit. The lighting segments also take over the function of the curve light: The focus point shifts on the basis of predictive route data provided by the MMI Navigation plus.
The optional HD Matrix LED headlights with Audi laser lighting are the ideal source of light for long-distance viewing. The laser light complements the LED full beam outside built-up areas from a speed of 60 km/h and achieves lighting intensity 10 times stronger and double the visual range with 30 percent lower energy consumption compared to conventional LED technology. The laser headlight is optically visible through an x-shaped bezel and a blue element.
The continuous LED strip lighting over the charismatic sculptural rear provides a large area of precise illumination for following traffic, but also an optical highlight for you. The futuristic, dynamic lighting of the optional Coming-Home/Leaving-Home function makes leaving and arriving a fascinating experience.
